FAQs

We output onto standard color print film, manufactured by Kodak.

Yes—we can. Right now, our B&W slides are exposed on color film and developed using a standard color process, so you may notice a slight color tint. (Similar to the “black-and-white” sequences in 《Oppenheimer》—this is a common effect.)

We’re building a true black-and-white film processor, which will allow us to output onto B&W film stock for cleaner monochrome results.

Yes—we can.We built a fully automatic slide scanner. It lets us scan slides with a Nikon Z7II in about 3 seconds per slide.

The most exciting part is: we can scan both the film image and the slide mount (which may contain handwritten notes) at the same time.We have a slide archive with over 100,000 vintage Kodachrome slides. We built this machine to digitize them.

If you have a large number of slides to digitize, please contact us. We can scan them for you. Or you can buy our machine.
